New Traditional-Style Hot Pot in Midtown NYC 🍲|Mt. ShooTao Hot Pot

Tried the newly opened Mt. ShooTao Hot Pot in Midtown today — stepping inside feels like being transported to China, with its elegant, classic décor and warm atmosphere. 🇨🇳✨ We ordered the three-flavor pot: pork bone, herbal tonic, and spicy red oil broths. Each was rich and flavorful — you can tell they’re freshly simmered, not pre-made. 🍲 The meat quality really impressed us! The beef tongue 👅 was incredibly tender and fresh, and the hand-cut beef slices cooked perfectly in just seconds. I also loved the “Mountain & River” six-ingredient platter, which included black fish slices, beef meatballs, duck intestine, beef tripe, omasum, and spicy beef — a delicious variety in one dish! 🍢 The abalone was another standout — fresh, chewy, and ideal for hot pot. Don’t skip the vegetable platter 🥬 either — cooked in their broths, the veggies absorbed all the delicious flavors. Between the authentic taste, inviting setting, and attentive service, this has quickly become my favorite hot pot spot in Midtown. Highly recommend! ❤️ 📍 Address: 35 W 35th St, New York, NY 10001 Loved this hot pot review? Don’t forget to like, follow, and save for more cozy and delicious NYC eats! Let me guide you to more amazing dining spots. 😘🥢 #NYCFood #NYCExploration #NYCWorkLife #NYCLiving #SichuanHotPot #MtShooTao #MidtownEats #HotPotNYC #NYCEats #ComfortFood
