After a trip to Yellowstone in May that ended with an overnight layover at Denver Airport ๐, I knew I had to return to Colorado for a proper ski + hot springs New Yearโs celebration ๐งโโ๏ธ๐ฟ And what a magical trip it turned out to be! ๐ฝ๏ธ El Five Our first stop after landing โ a stunning Spanish restaurant! Loved the cheese & charcuterie board and seafood paella ๐ฅ Cured ham with honeycomb + warm bread + cheese = pure bliss Also tried their Mediterranean-style dumplings and lamb sausage The vibe was chic, and the rooftop offered dreamy city views ๐ ๐ฒ Moobongri Soondae Drove here after visiting Red Rocks Amphitheatre We ordered grilled beef intestines and a small blood sausage hot pot So comforting on a cold day โ and yes, we took leftovers home! ๐ Oakwell Beer Spa We booked the New Yearโs Celebration package โ perfect for couples! ๐ซข Started with an aromatic bath bundle (we picked a sweet, woody scent) Private spa room with a sauna, vanity, snacks, champagne, chocolates ๐พ Loved the masks, hair treatments, and bubble bath balls The zero-gravity massage under a starry ceiling was so relaxing I dozed off ๐ซ ๐ก Molly Brown House Museum A charming home with a Titanic connection ๐ข We joined a guided tour โ so inspiring to learn about Margaret Brownโs incredible life Standing by the fireplace, I imagined her adjusting decorations over a century agoโฆ A beautiful glimpse into history and fate โฅ๏ธ ๐๏ธ Copper Mountain Ski Day Drove up listening to music, watching snowy peaks roll by โ pure magic Took the Blue Line shuttle from the parking lot to Central Village Grabbed Starbucks, then hopped on the American Eagle lift ๐ Easy access, great vibes, and even BBQ nearby! ๐ Denver Zoo A spontaneous visit โ and so worth it! The animals felt surprisingly close โ spotted a clouded leopard and a capybara (way bigger than we imagined ๐) ๐ A uniquely beautiful way to ring in the New Year ๐ฅณ Hereโs to many more joyful adventures โ may each year be better than the last! #DenverNYE #SkiAndSpa #ColoradoWinter #MollyBrownHouse #BeerSpa #TravelMemories
