New York, a Place of Freedom and Loneliness(1) π
This city seems to have become my second home. ποΈ It's the first time in my life that I've lived in a city other than the one where I was born and grew up for such a long period. πEvery time I'm walking on the street and someone comes up to ask for directions, I feel a sense of familiarity, as if this place is like home. Those locations that I used to see frequently in movies and TV shows have now become places that I pass by casually. Sometimes, walking on the street, I can't help but feel that life is really magical. ποΈ I never thought that I would live on the other side of the ocean, yet here I am, walking in a place I never imagined I would live. πI can't predict what will happen at the next stop in life. The only thing I can do is to treat it as the next adventure. Grand Central Station π Pier 35: One of the spots to watch the sunset of the Brooklyn Bridge, and the night view is beautiful too. π ποΈ The street in front of Macy's at 14th St, where you can catch a glimpse of the Empire State Building. π #LifeInNewYork ποΈ #NewYorkWeekend π
