New York: Glamour & Light Through the Lens|A Photographer’s Memory
It’s been almost a year since I returned home, but these photos from last autumn in NYC still hold a special glow. 🍂 At first, New York felt like a steel jungle — crowded, loud, and intense. Sirens blaring 🚨, impatient honking 📣, steam rising from grates 💨, leaves mixed with trash on sidewalks 🗑️… But over time, I learned to listen past the noise. Through my lens, I discovered another New York — softer, poetic, breathtaking. ☀️ Morning light weaving through The Vessel’s bronze honeycomb maze. 🌳 Lazy afternoons by Central Park’s calm lakeside. 🌆 Hudson River sunsets setting autumn leaves on fire. 🗽 The Statue of Liberty standing silent and green against the harbor sky. 🌉 Dreamy blue-hour arches of the Brooklyn Bridge. 🏙️ Glass towers rising from historic stone facades. ✨ Summit One’s golden-hour view of the Empire State Building glowing like amber. Looking back now, I realize — sometimes you have to leave a place to truly see its beauty. New York is exactly that: complicated, contradictory, and utterly captivating. 📍 Photo Locations: Dumbo & Waterfront Summit One Vanderbilt Inside The Vessel Lincoln Harbor Park (Manhattan skyline views) Rockefeller Park (Jersey City skyline) World Trade Center Under Brooklyn Bridge Central Park Port Jersey Blvd (Statue of Liberty telephoto spot) Pier 57 + Little Island #NYC #NYCphotography #NewYorkMemories #Cityscape #UrbanPhotography #NYCviews #NYCtravel #NYCgram #Hasselblad #StreetPhotography #NYCmoments
