New York’s Hidden Pirate Ship Bar ☠️🍸 Tourists Can’t Find It!

Stepping into the Sunken Harbor Club is like stumbling upon a sunken ship’s secret realm! 🏝️ It’s hidden above the popular Brooklyn restaurant Gage & Tollner, boasting an old New York vintage vibe, yet creating a fully immersive pirate world! 💀⚓🏴‍☠️🌊🏺 Sunken Harbor Club is walk-in only. The door opens at 5 PM, but people start lining up around 4:30. By 5 PM, when it officially opens, there’s already a long queue. Luckily, when it was our turn, there were exactly two spots left at the bar, and everyone else had to leave their ☎️ to wait for a call.📞📲😓 As we ascended the stairs, the sound of waves crashing began to fill the ears, instantly transporting the atmosphere from a New York City street to an underwater world of a sunken ship 🌊, like a trip back to the 18th-century Caribbean. Seaweeds and fishing nets adorned the walls and chandeliers, and a bathtub in the corner even had jellyfish swimming. With a ship’s wheel-designed bar and a stained-glass mermaid backdrop, sitting there felt like the real “Black Pearl” adventure had begun. 🎮🌊🏴‍☠️ There’s also a pirate captain statue at the entrance. Every corner is worth exploring. This is the most detailed bar I’ve ever seen. 👀🧐🔍 The staff is friendly, but you have to actively call them over to order, which can be a bit of a hassle. 🍸 The drink selection is extensive, but the quality varies - some are fantastic, while others are just average, and the prices are a bit steep 💰💸👛 Drinks: • PKNA (Non-alcoholic): Tart and sweet, the best drink of the night 🍹🥤🍸 • Mai Tai: Mediocre - if you’ve had one in Hawaii, you might be disappointed here 😕🍹 • Jubilee (Non-alcoholic): Cherry sour drink, a bit bland; I’d try something different next time 🍒🍸 🍽 Food Sunken Dumplings (Sunken Dumplings): The skin is chewy, the filling is juicy, and the sauce is great 🥟😋 G&T Sliders (Mini Burgers): The beef is tender, and the cheese is flavorful; you’ll want another serving 🍔🧀🍴 The popular pudding dessert was sold out, but the pineapple chili ice cream 🍍🌶 was also interesting, with a unique, slightly spicy aftertaste! 🍦🌶 Rating: 4.2/5 ⭐️✨🌟 #CheerWithADrinkTonight #Food #NewYorkBar #HiddenBarNYC #NewYorkBarExploration #BarRecommendation #PirateThemedBar #NewYorkFood #NewYorkExploration #NYC
