New York’s Newest Thai Spot: Elephant Ear 🐘 Is a Must-Try
After work, I visited a newly opened Thai restaurant in Midtown called Elephant Ear, and I was really impressed! I highly recommend it to everyone. Crying Tiger with Garlic Rice is somewhat similar to Cantonese clay pot rice, but instead of pork, there’s a perfectly seared steak in the pot. It’s tender and flavorful. 🍖 Sautéed Tiger Shrimp With Scallop And Squid features plump tiger shrimp 🦐, which are abundant in meat and paired with a tangy Thai sauce. It’s delicious! Fried Softshell Crab with Red Curry 🦀 is a bit salty on its own, but when paired with rice 🍚, it’s just right. If you’re in the mood for a hearty meal, this is a great choice. Their dessert platter is amazing! It includes mango sticky rice 🥭, Thai coconut pudding, and turtle jelly. The desserts are sweet but not cloying, and they’re perfect for satisfying a Chinese palate. Overall, I think Elephant Ear is a great spot for a post-work dinner. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Average cost per person: ~$70 Let me show you around New York for some fun dining and entertainment! 💋 #NYCFoodie #NYCExploration #NYCWorker #NYCLife #NewYork
