New York’s Newest Thai Spot: Elephant Ear 🐘🌟
After work, I visited a newly opened Thai restaurant in Midtown called Elephant Ear. It was pretty good, and I highly recommend it to everyone! 🌟 🗽Crying Tiger with Garlic Rice: This dish is somewhat similar to Cantonese clay pot rice, but instead of rice, it features a perfectly seared steak that’s tender and flavorful. 🍖 Sautéed Tiger Shrimp With Scallop And Squid: The tiger shrimp 🦐 in this dish are packed with meat and paired with a tangy Thai sauce. It’s super delicious! Fried Softshell Crab with Red Curry: The Thai curry-fried softshell crab 🦀 is a bit salty on its own, but it pairs perfectly with rice. It’s a great choice for those who love to eat rice. 🍙 🗽 Their dessert platter is amazing! It includes mango sticky rice 🥭, Thai coconut pudding, and turtle jelly. The desserts are sweet but not overly so, making them perfect for those with a Chinese palate. Overall, Elephant Ear is a great spot for a post-work dinner. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. 📍690 9th Ave, New York, NY 10036 Average cost per person: ~$70 🔪 #NewYork #NYCElephantEar #ThaiFood 🗽✨
