✨New York's beautiful French-Michelin dining still has to be Cesar(1)
I'm still savoring the Chef’s Table I had three years ago, and I couldn't wait to make a reservation at Cesar. 🐟 I wanted to see whether the soul of a restaurant lies with the chef or the owner. I went with both a desire to enjoy a meal and a bit of curiosity, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations— the entire menu had no overly flashy gimmicks, but each dish showcased the chef's delicate touches. 🍟It started with smoked trout mousse, shaped like little cigars. The smoky and creamy flavors blended perfectly, light yet layered. Next was the mackerel corn tart, with a pronounced fish oil aroma that paired beautifully with the corn chips' fragrance, offering a perfect balance of saltiness, aroma, and crunch. 🐟Then came the fried potato chips with hiramasa, which my friend described as the ultimate fish and chips. Simple but surprisingly delightful, it relied entirely on the quality of the ingredients and the cooking technique. It was my favorite dish of the night! 🍟 #NewYork 🌃🌟
