New York's Best Egg Tarts at Fu Yee 🌟
If you’ve been in New York for a while, you’ve probably heard of Fu Yee. It’s no exaggeration to say it’s the best Cantonese restaurant in Manhattan. 🌇 🌟 The menu is incredibly diverse, with many authentic dishes you won’t find elsewhere. 🍖 Whether it’s salt-baked chicken, black pork char siu, ginger and scallion lobster, or eel rice, everything is fantastic. 🌇 The meat is tender yet chewy, and the flavors are rich and satisfying. You can pretty much order anything and it will be delicious—there’s very little chance of disappointment. 🍖 🌟But what really surprised me was their egg tarts. They’re absolutely amazing! 🥧 The Portuguese-style tarts are large, perfectly browned, and almost too gooey to handle. The exterior is golden with a caramelized crust, while the custard inside is almost liquid. 🌇 The crust is flaky but not too crisp, reducing the greasiness. And it’s one of the few egg tarts in New York that I find just the right amount of sweet. I can’t recommend it enough! 🌟 📍 August Gatherings | Fu Yee #WeekendPlans #NoteInspiration 🌇
