Check the schedule on Tock in advance. 🕰️ 🚗 For those without a car, you can take the Metro North train directly from Grand Central Station to Tarrytown. A short taxi ride of about 10 minutes will get you there. 🚆 🍅 The lunch tray features a variety of seasonal foods. Whatever is harvested on the farm is what you get to eat. The one constant is the delicious bread and grass-fed beef, which are always on the menu. The paper under the tray even introduces which farmers grew the wheat and rice. 🌾 🍞 The restaurant also sells and bread. My northern friend always brings home a bunch, and the quality is even better than what you find at the Union Square Farmers Market—though it is a bit more expensive. Both types of bread are amazing! 🥪 🐓 There are many animals on the farm, including chickens, pigs, cows, and sheep. If you’re lucky, you might spot them all! 🐔 🌳 The restaurant is located within Rockefeller State Park, where you can take scenic walks or go hiking.
