New York's Eleni's π
Has the Generosity of This Place Saved the World? π₯Ί π’ Let's start with the summary: Average cost per person: $85 πͺ (including tips) (stuffed-to-the-brim version) It's a Greek restaurant π¬π·, beautifully decorated with lots of lemon trees π. π’ The pre-meal bread basket is enormous! A huge bowl of pita bread, and the waiter even asked if we needed more. I had to ask, "Are you serious?" The service was great. Over the 2 hours we spent chatting, our glasses were always full, and the waitstaff checked in regularly. Each dish was around $40, but the portions were definitely satisfying! π¦ Sal Anthony's The lobster pasta had a generous amount of lobster, with tender shrimp that weren't overly sweet or cloying. The pasta was just right, not too heavy. π Orata and Brussel Sprouts The whole fish was lightly flavored. We asked the waiter for some salt and squeezed some lemon over it, which really brought out the flavor. They also included a bowl of rice, which was a nice touch. π Octopofi Sharas The grilled octopus legs with salad were a perfect match. The octopus was tender, not the kind that makes your jaws ache. For two people, this dish could easily serve as a main course. π Greek Yogurt The cherries on top of the yogurt were amazing! Just as you'd imagine, thick and rich in flavor.
