New York's Hidden Gem: $85 Fine Dining with a Heart 🎈

I stumbled upon this hidden Italian fine dining spot in Tribeca, and it was an absolute delight! The food was incredible, and the value was unbeatable! The service was top-notch—everyone was dressed in suits, and the ambiance felt like a high-end restaurant. I was expecting a $300 per person price tag, but it was super affordable and guaranteed to leave you full! The prix fixe menu is just $89 before tax and tip! It includes pasta, a main course, and dessert, but they also throw in several complimentary dishes, bringing the total to around eight courses! 🍽️ 🥪 **Smoked Salmon 🆓** The first course was a showstopper! A small piece of toasted bread topped with smoked salmon and cream cheese. The toast was perfectly crisp yet soft, and the combination was heavenly! 🍅 🥖 **Bread 🆓** A small basket of bread arrived, featuring sourdough and pizza-like bread. It came with butter 🧈 and olive oil for dipping. They initially forgot to bring it, but after a gentle reminder, they brought us a whole plate! 🥪 🥒 **Fried Zucchini 🆓** The fried zucchini was quite good—crispy on the outside but still juicy inside. It wasn't too greasy, which was a pleasant surprise! 🍥 🍤 **Shrimp 🆓** The shrimp dish was beautifully plated but had a fairly average flavor. However, since it was complimentary, I couldn't complain! 🦐 🍝 **Soft Egg Yolk Raviolo (+$9)** This was the star of the show! Their signature dish, the raviolo was filled with cheese and sauce, topped with truffle. Every bite was bursting with truffle flavor, and the pasta had a delightful al dente texture. 🥪 🍝 **Bolognese (Friend's Order)** The pasta was on the softer side, not quite as al dente as I prefer, but still enjoyable. It was a classic rendition of the dish. 🍝 🍖 **San Domenico** I was blown away by the portion size! After finishing the appetizers and pasta, I was already full, but then came the massive pork rib. The pork was incredibly tender and juicy, though slightly salty. 🍖 🥩 **Saggio (Friend's Order +$15)** Another generously portioned dish! The steak was tender and flavorful, but I still had a soft spot for the pork. 🥩 🍨 **Sorbet 🆓** A refreshing coconut and lime sorbet, served with sweet pineapple and granola. It added a delightful crunch and sweetness to the dish! 🍍 🍰 **Chocolate Cake** Nothing too special about this dessert. The waiter recommended it, but it was just average. 🍰 🍮 **Pistachio Tart (Friend's Order)** A must-try! The crust was incredibly flaky, and the pistachio filling was rich and satisfying. It was so good we almost ordered another one! 🥧 **Scalini Fedeli** Average price per person: $89 (before tax and tip) #NYC #NYCExploration #NYCLife #DateNight #Foodie #PastaLovers #ItalianCuisine #FancyEats #BirthdayDinner #ScaliniFedeli
