New York's Pretty Meal Series | Sozai, the Hidden Gem of Japanese Izak
After class, my friends and I were looking for something to eat near the NYU Midtown campus. Because of the heavy rain, we decided on a whim to try a Japanese restaurant just two blocks away. And guess what? We stumbled upon this hidden treasure! I hereby declare that this will be my first certified NYU cafeteria for this semester. Hahaha 😆 Each of us ordered a main dish 🍱 or 🍙, and added some snacks to share among us. In total, it came to about $70 per person, which is a great deal for a delicious and satisfying Japanese meal! 🌟 I highly recommend their udon 🍜 and stir-fried clams 🦶 !! The udon has a light, slightly sweet flavor, with a variety of toppings and a generous amount of fatty beef. For just $30, I was completely full. The stir-fried clams tasted just like home, reminding me of the seafood stalls in Qingdao, where I'm from. We also ordered snow crab rice, eel rice, garlic sprouts with chicken liver, and Kung Pao shrimp 🍤. Everything was delicious! Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 #NewYork #JapaneseFood #HiddenGem 🌇🌟
