New York's Super Delicious Okdongsik (1)🌟

Dweji Gomtang $18 πŸ” The broth is so clear and flavorful, kind of like the radish and pork rib soup my mom makes. Haha! The pork paired with their secret spicy sauce is just amazing! The pork slices are thin, marbled, and not overly tenderβ€”they have a nice chew to them. The spicy sauce isn't too hot, and I ate every last bit! If I added more pork (+$8), it probably wouldn't be enough for dipping. πŸ– πŸ” The girl sitting next to me is of Korean descent but doesn't speak Korean. When the chef brought her the soup rice, he just assumed she spoke Korean and told her in Korean not to put the spicy sauce in the soup but to dip the pork in it. Even after she interrupted to say she didn't speak Korean, it was funny because he didn't tell me or the two Thai ladies next to me. I wonder why? Is it some secret only Koreans know? (Just kidding) πŸ˜‚ #Okdongsik 🌟 #NewYorkFoodie πŸ”
