New York's Super Delicious Okdongsik (2)๐
I didn't order dumplings because I was dining alone and couldn't handle more. After finishing the bowl of soup rice, I was super full, and I even drank all the soup! The kimchi is crispy, not too salty, but a bit spicyโjust enough to tickle your throat a little, and it's really good! ๐ต ๐๏ธ There aren't many items on the menu, haha. I wanted to try the tangerine ade, but it was sold out, so I just had tea. I went as soon as they opened at 11 AM and found that no reservation was needed at this time. But by 11:30 when I left, there was already a line of people waiting outside. The seating is a bit cramped; using both hands at the same time can lead to accidental bumps with neighbors. ๐๏ธThe hooks under the bar are too low for long coats, which drag on the floor. It's really annoying, and holding them is also a hassle, especially since eating soup rice makes you sweat a lot. ๐ The place is closing at the end of March next year, and I feel like I'll be back many more times before thenโit's just that good! ๐ ๐Okdongsik 13 E 30th St, New York, NY 10016 ๐๏ธ #Okdongsik ๐ #NewYorkFoodie ๐
