New York's Sushi Akira

Went to the super popular Sushi Akira in NY last night 🌆. As soon as I entered, I started looking for the sushi chef. 🌿 At first, I couldn't find her and thought she wasn't working today. Later, I realized she was the cool-looking woman with short hair right next to me 😎. She wasn't in charge of our half of the table though 😇. 🌿I rushed to the restaurant and as soon as I sat down, the first appetizer blew me away 🌟. The thin and crispy tart shell paired with the delicate liver pâté (I'm not exactly sure what it was, I didn't listen carefully during the introduction...) was quite unique. The sushi was just as I had expected. I'm not sure how to translate this exactly, but it's a type of shrimp – it was so creamy! The dessert was also delicious. 🌿 The refreshing tea sauce on the pudding cut through the sweetness perfectly, making for a very satisfying finish 🌺. Overall, it was a great experience. I had an 18-course meal and didn't feel stuffed at all 😍. #omakase 🍣🌿
