Hi-Collar This Japanese cafรฉ is a classic New York vintage hotspot. ๐Ÿต Last year, it moved to a new location with a much larger interior. ๐Ÿ  The old shop was tiny, with just a counter and a dozen seats. ๐Ÿฅข From 11 a.m., there was always a line outside. ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ Now, with more space, you'd think the wait would be shorter, but due to a shortage of staff, there's still a queue. ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ I arrived at 2 p.m. on a Saturday and waited for about half an hour outside. โณ To me, that's acceptable, but what happened after seating left me speechless. ๐Ÿ˜– If you just want omurice, there are better places than this. ๐Ÿณ ๐Ÿ“ You need to order at the door before being seated. ๐Ÿ“ When it was my turn, I confidently listed my three pre-decided dishes to the waiter. ๐Ÿ“ I then took a seat at the counter. ๐Ÿ“ Inside the counter, the owner's wife handles the drinks and coffee. ๐Ÿ“ As a food blogger, I couldn't miss the chance to snap some photos. ๐Ÿ“ I spent ages photographing her making a siphon coffee, thinking each time that it would be mine. ๐Ÿ“ But she served it to someone else! #NYCExploration #NYCFoodie ๐ŸŒ†๐ŸŒŸ
