New York's YAO Modern Cantonese Cuisine
In my opinion, the best Cantonese cuisine in New York is undoubtedly YAO. I've dined at their original location numerous times, and now that their new FIDI location has opened, I finally had the chance to check it out. I must say, the new restaurant has elevated Chinese dining to a Fine Dining experience with its high-end and exquisite decor. The prices are the same as the original location, but they've introduced a six-course Tasting Menu, which offers a great overall experience. It's perfect for dates and gatherings. 🔥 Black Truffle Hand-Rolled Shrimp Dumplings: Overflowing with the aroma of black truffle, the shrimp filling is incredibly bouncy. The sauce is the finishing touch that makes it extraordinary. 🔥 Gold Leaf Crispy Fried Abalone: The whole dish is golden and luxurious. The abalone is stewed to perfection and paired with a crispy shell that's incredibly fragrant. 🔥 Imperial Crab Meat and Wen Si Tofu Soup: The knife skills displayed in this dish are something I'll never possess in a lifetime. The tofu soup with added crab meat is overall quite fresh. 🔥 Charcoal Grilled Angus Beef Short Ribs: The main course of the day, the charcoal-grilled beef short ribs are paired with a rich sauce made from crystal pear juice, resulting in a fantastic taste. #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExplorer #NewYorkFoodRecommendation #NewYorkFoodStrategy #ManhattanNYCFood
