🍚 Copper Pot Steamed Rice with Potatoes and Ham – This dish has a perfect "wok hei" (the unique flavor from stir-frying), combining carbohydrates with more carbohydrates for a satisfying meal! The simple seasoning is enough to make it irresistible. When it was served, even the table next to us asked where we ordered it from. 🍚 🍜 Black Shredded Pork Rice Noodles – This dish features a mix of chili peppers, pickled mustard greens, and minced pork, all beautifully combined with the smooth noodles. The noodles are slippery and delicious, making it easy to slurp them down quickly. The "Little Yellow Cow" rice noodles are also great, essentially a spicy version of the beef and potato stew with added noodles. 🍜 🐓 Steam Pot Chicken (Less Oil Version) – We ordered the less oily version (hoping it could be even less oily), and the chicken soup is a perfect match for winter! 🍖 In terms of atmosphere, the restaurant, located near a school district, is mostly filled with students. Their conversations revolve around exams, applications, job hunting, and vacations, but the main focus is always on making friends and talking about relationships. 🎓 The TV plays "The Legend of Zhen Huan," and we confirmed that it was the famous scene from Episode 63, the blood test to recognize kinship. Indeed, it’s hard to find another restaurant in New York with such a unique vibe... 📺 📍 South of the Clouds (Yunnan Restaurant) 16W 8th St, New York, NY 10011 #NewYorkFoodGuide #NYCEatsAndDrinks 🌇🌟
