New York | A Disappointing Sushi Experience 😅

Sushi Sho was a major letdown. The $450/person omakase was supposed to be a treat, but it turned out to be a nightmare. I expected the sushi to be amazing if it was made by the chef himself, but it was far from it. 🌸 We all ended up with fish bones in our sushi, like a huge bone in the cherry trout that should have been noticeable when preparing it. The tuna had been aged for 10 days, but due to improper temperature and humidity control, the meat became hard and turned a deep brown color. 🎢 The moment I took a bite, I wanted to vomit. The rice was inconsistent too—I had some that was sticky and clumped together, and some that was too loose. 🏙️ The worst part was that the meal was completely unsatisfying. I'm a regular 100-pound woman, and I was still hungry even after eating a packet of instant noodles before going there. 🌊 In the end, the restaurant waived the cost of my drinks and compensated us with two extra pieces of sushi each. It's a place I wouldn't want to visit again. It feels like the Japanese version of Daniel—beautiful ambiance but terrible food. 🍃 #NewYork #NYCRestaurant #NYCFood 🌟
