New York | A Must-Visit East Village Italian Bakery (1)🍪

The days of leaving New York are getting closer, and all the things I’ve been putting off are finally being added to my to-do list. I’ve heard about this Italian bakery, which is over a hundred years older than me, for so long, and I finally had the chance to visit! 🌟 🌟 The entire decor is super vintage. You can dine in or take out. The display of pastries is just dazzling—so many options to choose from! There was this super enthusiastic Italian server who warmly introduced each cake and helped with the selection, making me feel like a newbie in the workplace. Another server seemed a bit jaded from work, efficient but slightly indifferent. 😄 🎢🍃 The store mainly offers small cakes, and the freezer inside has mini versions of some products, like Cannoli and fruit tarts. They’re sold by weight, which is great for those with choice paralysis. There are also full-size options, mostly fruit cakes and cheesecakes, and the prices seem pretty reasonable. 🍰 The most iconic item here is the tiramisu (after all, it’s Italy), but I’ve seen reviews saying it has a strong alcohol flavor. Since I’ve been avoiding alcohol lately, I didn’t try it this time. 🌟 Black Forest Cake I’ve always loved chocolate cakes, and this one is no exception. The animal cream is delicious and not greasy at all. The cake is fluffy and not overly sweet. It’s just perfect! 🍫 🎢🍃 #NewYork 🌆🍰
