New York | A Serendipitous Izakaya Experience 🌟

Remember that day when the rain was pouring and the wind was howling? My friend and I were planning to visit the famous Tomi Jazz, a place so renowned that even Xu Guanghan was said to wait in line for hours. 🎶 We arrived at 4 p.m., only to find a line stretching tens of meters long even before the 5 p.m. opening time. 🌧️ Is it really worth waiting in line for hours for a jazz bar in such extreme weather? 🤔 After checking, we couldn’t find any information about any big-name performers. So, we decided to head to the izakaya across the street—Lucky Cat. 🐱 We ordered a few random dishes, and they were all pretty good. Two people can’t try too many dishes, but the tonkotsu shoyu ramen, grilled squid, and curry rice were all quite tasty. 🍜 But the staff kept rushing us—ordering drinks, placing orders, eating, and paying. They asked several times, and it really felt a bit annoying. 🤯 It seems like this place is more suited for drinking, chatting, and getting a bit tipsy. 🍻 #DocumentingFoodJourneys #CapturingTheMoment 🌆🌟
