New York | Antidote π
After a day of exploring Williamsburg in Brooklyn, it was time to find a place to eat. I stumbled upon Antidote and decided to give it a try. π½οΈ π Antidote 66 S 2nd St, Brooklyn, NY 11249 With over 1500 Google reviews and a rating of 4.8+, this place seemed like a must-try. After checking out some recommendations on social media, I was convinced to visit. π We ordered five dishes, and every single one was a hit! Hereβs what we tried: Spring Special Appetizer: π Cold Snail Salad β A refreshing and tangy appetizer that was the perfect start to our meal. π For the main courses, we went with the following, and none disappointed: π Crab Tofu β The tofu was soft and flavorful, and the crab roe added a rich, umami touch without any fishiness. π π Dongpo Pork β Despite hearing mixed reviews, I, as a native of Hangzhou, was pleasantly surprised. The dish was true to its Hangzhou roots! π π Smoked Tea Duck β A must-order! The smoky flavor of the tea duck was authentic and delicious. π π Douban Fish β This dish had a slightly salty taste due to the douban sauce, but my dining companions loved it! π The ambiance was fantastic, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. LAβs Chinese restaurants could definitely take some inspiration from the decor here. π The total bill, including tips and taxes, came to just over $150 for three of us, making the per-person cost around $50. #NewYork πΏπ
