New York | Bánh Anh Em

A cozy Vietnamese eatery located at 99 3rd Ave in Manhattan’s East Village 🏙️🍃 My friend and I started lining up at 5 PM for dinner—they reopen at 6 PM, and it’s pretty popular! 🕔👭🔥 Overall Rating: 4.3/5 The biggest surprise was the P3 Patê Chaud flaky pastry—crispy outside, tender inside, with a pineapple-bun-like texture and rich filling. Absolutely heavenly! 🌟 5/5! We started with Bánh Bèo mini rice cakes and grilled oysters 🦪🍶. The rice cakes are served in four small dishes topped with shrimp powder, scallion oil, and crispy pork skin. Light and tasty! The Bún Riêu tomato rice noodles were loaded with goodies: meatballs, fried tofu, blood tofu, all in a tangy-sweet broth. Super refreshing for summer! 🌿 Another fun dish was the Bánh Ướt Chồng layered rice paper rolls—it’s interactive! You assemble your own rolls with different ingredients from the tray. Looks small but surprisingly filling! 😋 #NewYork #EastVillage #VietnameseFood #Foodie #NYCEats #BánhAnhEm 🥢🌆🎉
