New York | Best Pilaf in Town ๐ŸŒ‡๐ŸŒŸ

๐ŸŒบToday, I headed out to the West 4th area to grab the famous Do Not Feed Alligators coffee. Imagine my surprise when I found my all-time favorite Central Asian supermarket, Tashkent Supermarket, right next to the subway station! ๐Ÿƒ Now, hereโ€™s the kicker: this place sells the most incredible lamb pilaf. Itโ€™s simply unbeatable! ๐ŸŒŸ Fun fact about me: I absolutely adore lamb and its distinct flavor. I grew up eating Middle Eastern and Central Asian cuisine, so Iโ€™m a huge fan of aromatic spices. ๐ŸŒบ ๐ŸŒŠ Previously, I had to travel to the depths of Brooklyn or Queens for this delicacy. But it was worth the one-hour subway ride just to sit by the roadside and savor every bite. ๐ŸšŒ A small portion costs around $10. The lamb is incredibly flavorful and comes in generous chunks. The carrots are tangy and sweet, and the rice is perfectly greasy. It completely outshines the lamb pilaf at some popular New York Chinese restaurant chains. I finished it all while sitting at the bus stop. ๐ŸšŒ ๐ŸŒบ Address: 378-386 6th Ave, New York, NY 10011 Oh, and today I tried DNFAโ€™s pistachio latte. The coffee beans have a strong acidic note upfront, but the middle and aftertaste are very rich. ๐ŸŒฟ ๐ŸŒŠ The pistachio flavor has a hint of almond, which is bad news for me since Iโ€™m allergic to almonds. To me, it tastes like poison. Next time, Iโ€™ll definitely try a different flavor. ๐ŸŒŠ #NewYork
