New York | Beware of Greek Food Near Central Park (2)🌟

Mushroom Risotto: A Mixture of Truffle Essence and Salt. πŸ„ πŸŽ’πŸƒ The strong scent of truffle wafted through the air even before the dish arrived, and it was the kind of artificial flavor you'd find in truffle oil, so overpowering that it almost curbed my appetite. The truffle flakes, which tasted devoid of any truffle flavor, paired with the rather firm risotto, made for a rather stomach-churning experience. It wasn't terribly unpalatable, but it was quite salty. There wasn't a rich creamy flavor, just a lot of oiliness. πŸŽ’πŸƒ This main course is a matter of personal preference. Perhaps TJ's mushroom risotto would be more to the taste of Chinese diners (it's also reasonably priced). If you fancy truffles, you could pick up a canned version at Eataly and whip up your own dish as a more affordable alternative. 🌟 πŸŽ’πŸƒI didn't try the dessert, but you can check out the menu in the picture. As I've mentioned before, I might have a preconceived bias against Greek cuisine, which makes it hard for me to be impressed. Maybe I'm just too picky. πŸŽ’πŸƒI personally wouldn't recommend this place. But if you, like me, dislike overly salty and greasy food, you might want to give it a try and see for yourself. #NewYork πŸŒƒ
