Look super yummy, right, everyone? ππΊ My friend and I were drooling when we walked in, but in the end,for the first time in our lives, we couldn't finish the dessert. πSalswee, 180 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010 My friend and I went there even though friends who had been there before told us it was pretty average and not that tasty. I didn't believe them and thought I needed to try it myself to make a judgment: The egg tart crust was okay, but the filling was as hard as a solid. It wasn't chewy at all, which was really surprising. π₯§ ππΊ The Mont Blanc was super unauthentic. There were hardly any chestnuts, and the filling was all sponge-like cream, which was way too sweet. π₯§ The truffle croissant had so little truffle cream filling it was shocking, and it wasn't distributed evenly. The truffle flavor was also very weak. π₯― βοΈ The black sesame latte was a hit! It used Devocion coffee beans and tasted great. π΅π₯ The white chocolate was way too sweet and rich, completely overpowering the matcha tea flavor.
