New York | Big Sweet Treat Fail ❌⚠️

Look super yummy, right, everyone? 🍃🌺 My friend and I were drooling when we walked in, but in the end,for the first time in our lives, we couldn't finish the dessert. 📍Salswee, 180 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010 My friend and I went there even though friends who had been there before told us it was pretty average and not that tasty. I didn't believe them and thought I needed to try it myself to make a judgment: The egg tart crust was okay, but the filling was as hard as a solid. It wasn't chewy at all, which was really surprising. 🥧 🍃🌺 The Mont Blanc was super unauthentic. There were hardly any chestnuts, and the filling was all sponge-like cream, which was way too sweet. 🥧 The truffle croissant had so little truffle cream filling it was shocking, and it wasn't distributed evenly. The truffle flavor was also very weak. 🥯 ☕️ The black sesame latte was a hit! It used Devocion coffee beans and tasted great. 🍵🥐 The white chocolate was way too sweet and rich, completely overpowering the matcha tea flavor. And to make things worse, I was on my period that day and was craving sweets like crazy, but I couldn't finish the desserts. It was just too much. #NewYorkFoodFail #AvoidTheseSweets 🌃🍰
