New York | Cathédrale Restaurant
Just for the French Ambiance, but the Desserts Were Truly Stunning! 🌟 This restaurant is quite the buzz: a stunning conversion from a church, beautiful indoor private booths and bar areas, and a fusion of French and Mediterranean cuisine. 🎊 I came here mainly for the atmosphere, not expecting much from the food. Surprisingly, it was pretty good, and the desserts were amazing! 🍦 Milk Bread & Butter 🍞 The pre-meal bread was full of buttery flavor, so addictive! I also loved the breadstick they served as a starter. 🥪 Potato Chip Omelette 🍳 A magical mix: crispy potato chips, caviar, cream, and omelette. Surprisingly smooth and rich, with the crunch of the chips adding a nice texture. 🥧 Steak Tartare 🥔 Super crispy potato croquettes with seasoned raw beef—this place really loves potato elements! 🍟 8oz Filet Mignon 'Banquiere' 🥩 A thick and juicy steak. It was a bit salty, and the fries, which were already soft and chunky, weren’t very crispy when soaked in the sauce. 🍖 Black Truffle Fettuccine 🍝 The black truffle pasta had a very rich dairy and mushroom flavor, with a long-lasting aftertaste. 🍄 #NewYork 🌇🌟
