I've seen so many people raving about the pre-meal bread, and I strongly agree! It's indeed very fragrant π₯. The cauliflower appetizer is also delicious! ποΈ The Romaine salad is just a simple lettuce salad. I don't get why it's so popular on XHS, but my friends thought the greens were super fresh and loved the dressing. So, if you want to try it, go for it! The Fritter is pretty good. It's a savory fried dish with a bit of a grainy texture and a soft, fluffy feel. The hamachi crudo is a sweet and sour raw fish dish, somewhat similar to ceviche. π’ The chicken comes with a chicken foot, which is a nice touch. The chicken breast is tender and juicy. The octopus is delicious! The skin is crispy, and the inside is chewy. The seasoning is spot on. π The pork chop is a generous portion, with a crispy bone attached. The meat is tender and succulent. The short rib is incredibly tender! It almost doesn't feel like you're eating beef. The accompanying sauce is very unique, and this dish is definitely worth a try. π The pistachio ice cream is topped with crispy fried bits, lots of nut crumbs, and the ice cream itself is delicious. It's not overly sweet. The cream puff is small but incredibly tasty! It's not greasy at all. The maple flavor is rich, and the cranberry bits on top are a perfect match. πΈ The Toffee Pudding for two is a warm pudding that needs to be eaten with apple sorbet. The pudding is quite sweet, but the sorbet helps to balance it out. Personally, I think it's a bit too large a portion and a bit too sweet. ποΈ #NewYorkFood #NewYork #NewYorkWeekend π½οΈπ°
