I’ll definitely be back! It was delicious! I feel like I’ve been to this place a million times, haha. The food is amazing, and I’ll definitely come back, but the portions are really small! What’s a big foodie to do? 🍔 Super popular spot: Koban NYC 🏠 Among all the delicious dishes, here are a few I highly recommend: Mazemen (Oil-Splashed Noodles) 🍜 This dish was quite a surprise! As someone from Xi’an, I can say it’s really good, especially the minced meat. The addition of butter is quite novel! Katsu Tenderloin 🍖 Super tender and not gamey at all! We think it’s because it’s a Japanese-style cutlet that’s not too thick. It’s crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside—delicious even on its own! Butter Scallops 🦑 A completely unexpected flavor! I’ve never had scallops with mushrooms before. The sauce is really addictive. Together, they’re chewy, bouncy, and crispy—delicious and fun to eat! Eggplant Agebitashi 🍆 This is a Japanese-Korean fusion dish that’s truly amazing! It’s like having eggplant with meat sauce pasta, but instead of pasta, you get super crispy bread slices to eat with it. Sabazushi (Mackerel Sushi) 🍣 I wouldn’t have tried this on my own, but my friends convinced me. It’s worth a try, though it’s not a flavor I can clearly remember.
