Iāll definitely be back! It was delicious! I feel like Iāve been to this place a million times, haha. The food is amazing, and Iāll definitely come back, but the portions are really small! Whatās a big foodie to do? š Super popular spot: Koban NYC š Among all the delicious dishes, here are a few I highly recommend: Mazemen (Oil-Splashed Noodles) š This dish was quite a surprise! As someone from Xiāan, I can say itās really good, especially the minced meat. The addition of butter is quite novel! Katsu Tenderloin š Super tender and not gamey at all! We think itās because itās a Japanese-style cutlet thatās not too thick. Itās crispy on the outside and juicy on the insideādelicious even on its own! Butter Scallops š¦ A completely unexpected flavor! Iāve never had scallops with mushrooms before. The sauce is really addictive. Together, theyāre chewy, bouncy, and crispyādelicious and fun to eat! Eggplant Agebitashi š This is a Japanese-Korean fusion dish thatās truly amazing! Itās like having eggplant with meat sauce pasta, but instead of pasta, you get super crispy bread slices to eat with it. Sabazushi (Mackerel Sushi) š£ I wouldnāt have tried this on my own, but my friends convinced me. Itās worth a try, though itās not a flavor I can clearly remember.
