New York | Dry-Aged Steak(1)⁉️
📍 Fushimi Times Square I was craving sushi, so I headed to this legendary Japanese restaurant in Times Square that’s said to transport you back to Tokyo in seconds. The prices are quite reasonable, with lots of options to choose from. The average cost per person is around 💲100. Kumamoto Oysters 💲28/6pc The oysters aren’t very big, but they’re incredibly fresh and sweet. Even someone like me, who usually isn’t a fan of oysters, couldn’t stop at just two. In my opinion, a simple squeeze of lemon is all you need. 🦪 Bluefin Toro Tasting 💲69 My absolute favorite—bluefin tuna! Comparing the prices, the tasting option is definitely the best value. The toro sashimi is so rich and fatty, practically melting in your mouth. The chu-toro sushi with caviar is also very satisfying. The only downside is that the rice isn’t packed tightly enough, making it a bit hard. 🍣 King Salmon 💲22/per order Each order comes with three slices. This king salmon didn’t seem very fatty, and it was sliced quite thin. I wouldn’t highly recommend it. 🐟 Spot Shrimp 💲19/per order The shrimp are soft, tender, and sweet, but placing them on cucumber seems to mix the flavors a bit too much. 🍤 Seafood Miso Soup 💲12 The soup is poured tableside, and while the seafood might be frozen, the portion is generous. It’s a thickened miso soup with a rich flavor. 🥢 #NewYork 🌇
