New York | East Village Xinjiang Cuisine 🌟
Jiang’s Kitchen 🏠 is an absolute must-visit for Xinjiang food in the East Village! 🍽️ After several visits, I still can’t get enough of their delicious dishes. 😋 🍃 Here are my top recommendations: Lamb Skewers: A must-order! Each skewer is huge, and two per person are perfect. Wrap the meat with a piece of flatbread and add two cloves of garlic (the Zibo BBQ style). 🍖 Cumin Beef Rice: Super flavorful, with distinct, tender pieces of beef. It’s perfect for mixing into rice, though a bit salty if eaten alone. 🍲 🌟 Baked Buns: The first time I’ve had these outside of China, and they were amazing! So fragrant, I even took one home for breakfast. 🥯 🌸Naan Shreds with Meat: A unique dish where naan is cut into pieces and stir-fried with meat. It’s incredibly flavorful and a perfect blend of carbs and meat. 🫓 Dapanji (Big Plate Chicken): Standard but enjoyable. Not my favorite, but still worth trying. 🐔 🌟 The restaurant has a spacious interior, making it perfect for group meals. Hosting a party of eight is no problem at all! 🎉 ☎️ It’s a good idea to call ahead in the evening to reserve a table, as it can get busy and you might have to wait. 📞 #NewYork #NYCEats #JiangsKitchen 🌟🌟
