New York | Experience a Taste of Korean Taxi Driver Dining 🚕
When I saw my Korean friends checking in at Kisa in New York’s Chinatown, I just had to give it a try. The restaurant is inspired by the small eateries that Korean taxi drivers often visit. 🍜 The menu is super simple. In the middle, you choose one of the four main dishes from a large plate: 1️⃣ Bulgogi (Korean BBQ Beef) 2️⃣ Spicy Pork (Spicy Korean Pork) 3️⃣ Spicy Squid (Spicy Korean Squid) 4️⃣ Bori Bibimbap (Korean Mixed Rice Bowl) The side dishes are the ones around the circle, and they’re fixed. The flavors are pretty standard, and the place feels a bit chaotic since it just opened. During meal times, the line outside is super long! 😅 But here’s the fun part: you can use coins to buy a hot drink from the vending machine. It feels straight out of a Korean drama! 🥤 📍 Kisa | 205 Allen St, New York, NY 10002 #WhattoEatinNewYork🍔#HiddenGemRestaurant 🕵️♀️
