📍 La Vara As the sister restaurant of my 2025 favorite Saint Julivert, La Vara also specializes in seafood Spanish tapas and once again blew me away! 🌟 My top three dishes of the night: 🥘 Rossejat - This signature dish is truly divine! 🥹 The Spanish seafood rice at the bottom is toasted to a crispy perfection! The shrimp, lobster, clams, and squid are all incredibly fresh! Tossed with the rich black pearl aioli, the layers of seafood flavor just keep building. I could come to La Vara ten thousand times just for this dish…… 🧀 Croquettes - The staff highly recommended these, and they were spot on! Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, every bite is bursting with happiness and dairy goodness! 😍 🐙 Pulpo de Roca - Octopus paired with citrus and olive oil, tangy and refreshing with a chewy texture! 🍐 I also absolutely loved the ambiance of this place—romantic candlelight and a sense of ceremony that makes every meal special. 😌 #NewYorkCuisine #RomanticDining #BrooklynEats
