New York | Hudson Yards Little Spain (1)✨
Finally popped over to Little Spain—the Spanish food hall tucked inside Hudson Yards (basically my new backyard). The whole space feels like a mini Madrid market: casual buzz, colorful tiles, sangria cups clinking everywhere. We grabbed stools at La Barra (the tapas counter), but dishes arrived from every stall, so the menu is basically one big shared playground. Jack swears the flavors are Barcelona-level legit, so we went full throttle and ordered NINE plates. Save this post and you won’t need any other Little Spain cheat-sheet 😜 Chicken Croquetas ⭐ 4.5/5 Golden shell shatters like glass, inside it’s molten chicken-cheddar béchamel lava. Chloe called it “comfort food in a tuxedo” and refused to share the last bite. 🍗💛 Octopus with Mashed Potato ⭐ 4.5/5 Tentacles so bouncy they could join a trampoline team—definitely fresh, not freezer burn victims. Jack declared it his spirit animal and kept making “mmmm” noises like a broken metronome. 🐙🎶 Shrimps with Olive Oil & Garlic ⭐ 4/5 A swimming pool of green-gold oil loaded with sizzling garlic chips. Spanish bread barges dock immediately to soak up the sunshine. By the end we were dunking everything—fries, forks, maybe even my sleeve—into this liquid gold. 🍤 Stay tuned for Part 2… paella, sangria & churros still loading… 📍 Little Spain, Hudson Yards #NYCFoodie #SpanishInNYC #HudsonYardsEats
