The dishes here are truly hit-or-nothing-but-all-hits!⬇️ 🐑 Skewers: You can’t go wrong with any of them. The lamb skewers are a must-order—fresh, with a perfect mix of fat and lean meat. You can grill them yourself or let the staff do it and just reheat them. The chicken gizzards and beef tendons are also great. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the lamb kidneys… but be cautious with offal in general. 🐷 Sweet and Sour Pork (Gu Bao Rou): It’s incredibly fragrant and not overly vinegary, which is my preference. Even my foreign friends said it was the best Gu Bao Rou they’ve ever had! 🥺 🍜 Bonus Recommendation: Their Yanbian First Warm Noodles. It’s a simple corn noodle dish but super comforting and perfect for warming up your stomach, especially with barbecue. The other Northeastern dishes are also all winners! (Except for the last menu picture, which is a highlight 😂 The entire drink menu is mistranslated as "beef soup," which seems like they don’t care about foreign customers at all.) 🌟 Overall, everything is perfect except for the somewhat shabby environment: The first time I visited, I was a bit shocked by the sketchy vibe. 🤯 But somehow, the barbecue just tastes better in this setting! 🌟 The second time, we brought a famous Michelin chef friend, and he was also very impressed, even recommending it to many other chef friends. #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkDeliciousFood 🌆🌟
