New York | King's Street Coffee(2)
At that time, an elderly man came in with a bunch of printed papers. There was only one spot left at our table. 🎢 He politely and gentlemanly asked if we could make room for him. We, a group of strangers, looked up and thought we had misheard, haha. 🌆 But he really was asking us if he could sit there. When he left, he said, “Thank you, ladies, for giving me a spot.” Ah~ He also wished us a good time and then went to thank the staff and say goodbye. It really warms the heart. 🌊 The people making coffee are like acquaintances, and those who spend an hour with you are also worth thanking for their company. 🌆A girl with glasses in the café seemed to have met her idol. They both appeared to be writers. She took the initiative to talk to an elderly man and wrote something on a piece of paper. 🌊 After a while, the old man went to the girl’s seat to chat with her. You can never underestimate the encounters in a café. In such a café, I studied efficiently for five hours with a sense of boundaries and participation. It was so refreshing! 🌆 #NewYorkStudyCafe #NewYorkCoffee 🌆
