New York | L’Amico 🌟
An Italian brunch spot with a nice ambiance and a cozy atmosphere. 🌿 🌊 Average Cost: Around $55 per person 🥢 Branzino Lemon Cream Sauce Sea Bass The fish was incredibly tender, with a crispy skin that added a delightful texture. The seasoning was subtle yet delicious, with just the right amount of lemon cream flavor. 🍋 🗽 Omelette Souffle Cacio E Pepe Soufflé Omelette This dish was a delightful surprise! The omelette wrapped around a soufflé, creating a unique blend of textures. It wasn’t overly sweet, with coarse salt grains at the bottom and a layer of savory cheese in the middle. The flavors were rich and complex. My Vietnamese friend rated this dish 1000/10! 🥧 Wood Oven Roasted Chicken The chicken was a bit dry, with a flavor that was just average. 🍗 🍃 Pipe Rigate Pasta The pasta had a tomato base and was supposed to have short rib, but it was hard to detect. The dish was prepared in a very standard way. The pasta was on the firmer side; you might want to ask the restaurant to cook it a bit softer. 🍝 🌟 White Mushroom Pizza I ordered this pizza because of the restaurant’s impressive wood-fired oven, but the flavor was quite ordinary. The crust had a somewhat doughy texture, with edges that weren’t crispy and an overly chewy interior. 🍕 🎢 If you’re in Midtown and looking for a place to grab a bite, L’Amico is worth a try, but it’s not a destination in itself. The soufflé omelette is definitely a standout, while the other dishes are pretty standard. 🌟 #NewYork #Brunch 🍳🌟
