Ha's Snack Bar A super🔥 Vietnamese x French fusion bistro located in LES. Since its opening at the end of last year, it has been hard to get a seat. The restaurant opens at 5:30 pm, but there's already a long line outside at 5 pm. With only 24 seats, the tables are very close together, offering no privacy at all. 🌸 The entire space is cramped and noisy. Chef Anthony Ha and another cook prepare all the dishes on a kitchen counter the size of a cutting board. His wife takes charge of baking, beverages, general management, and part-time reservations. 🍃 The couple also founded Ha's Đặc Biệt, which has pop - up shops in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Paris. The menu is not very extensive. Two people can basically go through the entire menu. The overall seasoning is not to my personal taste. 🍃 Fish sauce is used in every dish. However, the strong flavor makes the dishes a bit too salty and greasy after a while. 🦪 Oyster with Green Chili Oysters with green chili offer a refreshing contrast of briny and spicy flavors. The freshness is tinged with a subtle hint of heat. #NewYork 🌃 😋
