New York | Llama San

Today, I’m excited to share a unique dining experience I had in Midtown Manhattan. 🌆 Llama San 📍 359 6th Ave, New York, NY 10014 This charming spot offers a delightful fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. Every time I visit, I can't help but dream of one day traveling to Peru to explore its rich culinary heritage and visit some of the world's top-rated restaurants. 🌴 ✈️ However, let's dive into my experience at Llama San. To be perfectly honest, dining here isn't exactly budget-friendly. The three-course set I tried came with a hefty price tag of around a hundred dollars. 🤑 Let me break it down for you. The scallops were undeniably fresh, which is a huge plus. But, unfortunately, their flavor was a bit underwhelming—almost bland. 🦪 The crab meat, on the other hand, was surprisingly too sour for my taste. I was expecting a delicate balance of flavors, but instead, it felt like a sharp citrus note had taken over. 🦀 ✈️ And then there was the fish. It was just okay—nothing special. I was hoping for something more memorable, but it just didn't stand out. 🐟 Overall, I have to say it was a bit of a miss. I wouldn't really recommend Llama San, especially if you're looking for an authentic and exceptional Peruvian dining experience. There are so many other places in New York that offer far better options. 🤔 ✈️ So, if you’re planning to try Peruvian cuisine in NYC, you might want to explore other options. This place, unfortunately, didn't live up to my expectations. #NewYork #PeruvianCuisine 😒
