New York | Locanda Verde: Only Two Dishes Were Good π₯²
My first visit to this restaurant was a bit underwhelming. While some dishes didn't meet my expectations, there were still a few worth recommending. π The restaurant itself is really beautiful and has a very elegant atmosphere, which adds a lot to the overall experience. Unfortunately, we were seated by the entrance, which was quite noisy and lacked the dining ambiance. πͺ If you have the chance to visit again, Iβd suggest specifying that you prefer a seat inside or in the main dining area when making your reservation. π π₯ Lamb Meatball Sliders This dish takes the top spot! The flavors are rich and complex, and the meat is incredibly juicy. Itβs a standout dish. If I were passing by in the afternoon, Iβd definitely order a drink to go with these lamb meatballs. π Daily Special: Scallops They sounded delicious, so I gave them a try. The taste was decent, but the scallops themselves were a bit disappointing. They werenβt bad, but there was an odd texture and a strong briny flavor. π¦ͺ Salad Just a regular salad. π Nothing special here; you can skip it. π₯ Crab and Squid Ink Pasta This dish was really good! The crab pieces were large and firm, and the pasta had the perfect amount of chewiness. π #NewYork π #LocandaVerde π
