New York | Mace (1)
🌸Met a friend at Mace, someone I only see once a year. We just planned to have a casual drink, but ended up ordering almost the entire menu. 🥤 🌃In summary, the herbaceous flavors and creativity are really impressive. They put a lot of thought into the pairings, but the pursuit of novelty means that many drinks are more interesting than delicious. 🎢 The alcohol content is generally low, making it perfect for trying with friends. I noticed other tables later switching to basic martinis. In my heart, the best creative cocktail place in New York is still Angels Share. For those who prefer strong alcohol, I highly recommend Dead Rabbit. 🍃Here are some recommendations: Pandan: Complex and layered, the syrup has a thick sweetness paired with a woody aroma. Bourbon as the base gives it a bitter taste, making it a good choice for the third drink. 🌊 Parsley (marked as fig on the bill): Very fragrant and pairs well with gin. It has a sweet and sour taste, refreshing and alcoholic, perfect for a chilly second drink. 🌟Smell and sip it while it's cold, and you'll notice a change in flavor as it approaches room temperature, becoming gentler. #NewYorkCocktails #NewYorkBars 🍸
