New York | Magical Tacos Worth the Long Wait (1)🌮

🐄 Tripe ($5) We were lucky to get the last two orders. We thought it would be chewy, but it was surprisingly tender and almost melted in the mouth. It was a bit greasy, though. 🐖 Pastor with Pineapple ($4) The staff said this is their top seller. The pork shoulder was perfectly marbled, not greasy at all. It had a slightly salty taste, which was balanced by the pineapple. 🐄 Suadero ($4) Rose Meat is from the leg and belly area. Also known as “Elephant Ear,” it has a light color and a chewy texture. After three hours of slow cooking, it was soft but not mushy. 🌵 Nopales ($4) The prickly pear cactus was cooked just right—tender and juicy. All four of us agreed that this was one of the best tacos. 🐖 Longaniza ($4) I don’t like spicy food, and this one made my scalp tingle. But my roommate loved it! 🐖➕🐄 Campechano ($4) This is a mix of Suadero and Longaniza. It’s great for those with decision fatigue. But in my opinion, the two flavors competed a bit and didn’t blend perfectly. 📝 Tacos are truly versatile and amazing. One of my friends, who is from California and usually complains about New York tacos, loved these! #NewYork 🗽🌮
