New York | My Hidden Thai Restaurant List Just Grew by One
This Thai restaurant is near Times Square, and its menu is quite creative. I was pleasantly surprised by the random selection of a coconut pandan cocktail, a refreshingly Southeast Asian-style sweet drink. 🥴 For curry, I chose green garlic brisket. Surprisingly, green curry and beef go really well together. The beef brisket was slow-cooked at a low temperature, making it tender yet retaining its texture. Even the lean meat could be bitten through horizontally. It was soaked in the fresh green curry, filled with basil aroma, and was a rice-killer level dish. ⚡️ The curry potato croquettes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. With the first bite, the steaming curry aroma filled the mouth, and the filling was super rich! At lunch, ordering a main course comes with a complimentary fried chicken wing. The dry-fried chicken wings, without batter, were still very juicy, and the half-cut wings were easy to eat. After the meal, my friend and I went to class with great satisfaction. The restaurant is spacious and bright, and the waiter was very enthusiastic. I was happy to leave a tip. 🥥 Chalong NYC 📍749 9th Ave, New York, NY 10019 #StudyingInNewYork #NewYorkFood #NewYorkDining
