New York | One-Michelin-Star Korean Restaurant bōm (1)🌟

Yesterday, I visited the highly popular bōm in New York! Since its opening, its popularity has never wavered. The entire dining experience truly felt like watching a “performance combining Korean culture and French culinary art.” 🎭 🥢 ⭐ Smoked Shima Aji Smoked island mackerel + watermelon + quinoa The first bite was astonishing! The combination of smoky aroma and sweetness was really well done. 🍇 ⭐ Baesuk Inspired by the Korean “pear water” combination, served with Ossetra caviar, red dates, and tofu Personally, I found it a bit too salty and not very enjoyable. 🍐 ⭐ Yook-Hwe Korean-style raw beef + foie gras + pear One of bōm’s signatures! The flavors are rich but very well-balanced. 🍖 ⭐ King Crab & Gyeran Jjim King crab + Korean steamed egg This dish was quite good. 🦀 ⭐ Abalone Miyeok Abalone + kelp + black sesame A high-end version of “abalone kelp soup,” but the flavors of the ingredients didn’t blend well—it felt a bit off. 🍄 #NewYork #NYCFoodie #KoreanCuisine 🌆🌟
