New York | One-Michelin-Starred Cote Korean Steakhouse 🌟
I ordered the Butcher's Feast, which is now $68 per person—it seems like there's been a price increase. The menu said, "Trust our chef to make the best choices for you," and here's what we got: Hanger Steak ❤️ Dry Aged Ribeye Cote Galbi (Marinated Short Rib) ❤️ (The seasoning is a bit sweet, but wrapping it in lettuce leaves makes it even better!) One I forgot the name of Personally, I loved the hanger steak and short rib the most—I'd definitely order them à la carte next time. The ribeye and the one I forgot didn't quite hit the spot for me. Even the à la carte Cote Steak ($32) didn't win me over as much as the hanger steak and short rib did. 🍖 -The set also included two seasonal vegetable sides: the pickled okra was amazing, and I had seconds and thirds! The cauliflower was also tangy and crunchy. 🍲 -The scallion salad was a bit much for me; I couldn't get past the second bite. 🥢 -Lettuce leaves are a must for wrapping the meat! 🥬 -The egg soufflé was incredibly delicious—I had three servings before the waiter informed me that it would be $18 per serving after a certain limit. No wonder it's one-star Michelin pricing. Although I'm not sure how many times you can get it; probably not more than the number of people in your party. 🥧 -The doenjang (soybean paste) soup and kimchi stew with rice were super filling. The doenjang soup is spicy and so flavorful, and the kimchi stew is perfect for soaking up with rice. 🍲 -For dessert, the soy sauce caramel ice cream was surprisingly delicious—sounds a bit unusual, but it works! 🍦 For non-alcoholic drinks, I recommend the Ambrosi for $12. 🍵 Without tip, the average cost per person was $93. 💰 📍COTE Korean Steakhouse 16 W 22nd, New York, NY 10010 🏙️ #COTE 🌟 #NewYorkFoodie 🍔
