New York | Piccola Cucina Uptown🍝
Went to the Met with a friend and chose this brunch spot near Central Park. The pasta was really good! Just too much food and couldn’t finish it all. 😋 Fritto Mistro ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 Super fragrant fried seafood and vegetables. I don’t like picking fish bones, so I passed the fish to my friend. But the fried jumbo shrimp and calamari rings were especially delicious. The thin rolls in the vegetables were actually fried cucumber slices! Very tasty. The only downside was that it became a bit too oily after eating a lot. Needed to drink lots of water to wash it down. Regretted not ordering a sour drink. 🥵 Gnocchi di ricotta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Potato gnocchi, super chewy. I really liked this pasta. The sauce was tangy with the flavor of oil-infused tomatoes and meat. Very fragrant! 🤤 Green Tagliatelle with Black Truffle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My friend ordered this and let me try a few bites. It’s a very beautiful pasta dish with a strong black truffle aroma. Besides that, it’s just regular Italian meat sauce. The few bites I tasted were still very delicious! 😋 The pre-meal bread came with delicious oil-infused tomatoes. 🍅 In the end, I’m not sure if we were bad from the fried food or if the portion of pasta was really too much. My friend and I both left a small half unfinished, haha. But as soon as the pasta came, the waiter asked if we wanted cheese, and then added a lot of cheese to each of our pasta dishes. Very fragrant and satisfying! 🧀 Finally, it’s about $40 per person including tip. I feel like it would be good to come next time and each have a pasta dish! 👍 #HappyMoment #GlobalFoodieSquad #HiddenGemRestaurant #brunch #NewYork
