30-Year-Old Cantonese Cuisine Masterpiece: Bamboo Pith and Lamb Stew 🌟 The hidden gems in Chinatown are endless, with some restaurants older than I am! Ping’s recently served the most satisfying meal I’ve had. I bet even the most discerning Cantonese foodies would be won over. 😋 🎢🍃 Bamboo Pith and Lamb Stew 🐑 The portion is so huge it can feed a whole table! The lamb skin is chewy and tender, while the meat is thick and flavorful. It’s perfect for the current weather, and the broth is not salty but incredibly refreshing. It’s like a full recharge on the spot! And the best part? You can enjoy it in two ways! After eating half, the waiter asked if we wanted to add lettuce, and when it was reheated with mushrooms, it became even more delicious. Super worth it! 🍲 🎢🍃 Fermented Black Bean Clams / Razor Clams 🦴 Finally, I got to taste razor clams that are plump, juicy, and full of bounce! It’s so satisfying! I always felt that razor clams in Spanish or French cuisine were missing something. 🎢🍃This is the real deal, the taste that Cantonese people remember. The dish is full of wok hei (that smoky, charred flavor), and it was the first to be cleaned off the plate. Even the side dishes like onions and bell peppers were delicious. It brought back memories of dining in seafood restaurants back home. 🍤 #NewYorkFoodie #NYCMustTry 🍜🌟
