Abalone and Chicken Stew 🍲 The chicken has an authentic “chicken” flavor, with a strong aroma from stir-frying in ginger, scallions, and oil. The abalone is cut into small pieces and needs a bit of searching. One thing to note: the ginger in this dish plays a sneaky role! 😄 Char Siu Supreme 🍖 The char siu has a perfect balance of fat and lean meat, with a hint of charcoal grill aroma and honey-glazed sweetness. It’s a solid choice! 🍖 XO Sauce Oysters 🦪 The oysters are incredibly plump, even larger than the palm of your hand! It’s rare to find such high-quality oysters in New York. There’s a slight seafood smell, but it’s part of the experience. 🦪 We were also given a complimentary seaweed and mung bean soup at the end. It’s slightly sandy and sweet, just right to finish the meal. This 1998-founded restaurant is almost 30 years old now, and even celebrities like Daniel Wu and Jack Ma have visited! 😆 It’s perfect for group meals or when your parents visit New York and want to enjoy some fresh seafood and hearty dishes without having to go all the way to Flushing or Brooklyn. 📍 Ping’s #NewYorkFoodie #NYCMustTry 🍜🌟
