New York | Recently Discovered a Hidden Gem Restaurant! ✨
Living in a big city is truly different; I've stumbled upon yet another Chinese restaurant that brings fresh excitement every time! Hahaha. This time, I went for the salt-baked chicken, but I unexpectedly tasted many dishes that are worth savoring: 1️⃣ Salt-Baked Chicken: The restaurant's signature and grand dish. When it's served, it comes in a large sand pot with a full-service experience, including lighting the fire and cutting the chicken, which adds a sense of ceremony! This cooking method perfectly preserves the chicken's juices, ensuring the meat is never dry and is very flavorful. The chicken skin is fatty and chewy, while the meat is tender and smooth. It's definitely worth a try! 🍗 2️⃣ Six-Color Xiaolongbao: A visually stunning delight. Six dumplings come in five different flavors, each with its own unique taste. My personal favorite is the squid ink flavor, which is incredibly rich and delicious. 🥟 3️⃣ Garlic Pork with Cucumber: Lately, high-end restaurants seem to enjoy reinterpreting this classic home-style snack. Here, the pork is paired with cucumber slices, rolled up, and drizzled with garlic paste, red oil, and chili flakes. The texture is quite nice. However, I personally think it would be perfect if the sour flavor were a bit stronger. Hahaha. 🍖🥒 #NewYork 🌇🌟
